The band was formed by James Rogers and Brian Vega, two producers who became friends years ago while attending a hardcore show in Reno, Nevada. After spending the next decade touring with various bands, they met again while living in Oakland, California due to a shared interest in darkwave and electronic music. Starting as a four-piece guitar band with acoustic drums, and now touring and recording as a hybrid of three electronic musicians, Fearing demonstrate the potential for growth and change that allows them to keep their fans interested and their live shows unique. A delicate balance between austere, energetic, bright and dark.
